A simple diagnostic procedure that bounces high-frequency sound waves off areas of the body and captures the returning echoes to create an image. The ultrasound unit at Compass has the ability to create high quality diagnostic images while imaging the neck, abdomen, pelvis and blood vessels. We also have the ability to do ultrasound guided biopsies and aspirations, preventing the need for patients to go to an outpatient surgery environment for these procedures.
